ACADEMICS
Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year’s performance of the pupil, therefore regularity in attendance and studies is of prime importance.
In genuine cases of absence during examination, the principal will decide on the merit of each case. Decision relating to the promotion of such cases will be at the sole discretion of the Principal (based on the performance in academics, attendance and behavior in the class).
A student will be eligible to appear for examination only if he/she has at least 75% of attendance.
The medium of instruction is English therefore the students must converse in English at school and a certain amount of conversation must take place at home also.
It is the responsibility of the absentee student to cover all the work missed by him/her.
Children are expected to carry their books according to the Time Table.
A child who uses unfair means during the assessments will be awarded a zero in that particular test and warning letter would be issued.
It is earnestly recommended that parents/guardians should look into their wards’ Almanac every day and ensure that the lesson and homework assigned for the day is done.
Remarks put down in the diary should be seen and countersigned regularly. It is always advisable to write to the concerned teacher in the Almanac in case if there is a query.
